lyrics
An unwelcome presence
Felt cross distant corners
Vultures gaze from a distance
A fight against the sun
Dark scales tighten their grip
Corruption wrought slow
Long lasting poison
A species brought low
Beware the serpent’s whisper
Beware the serpent’s kiss
Holy prayers are insufficient
Hope cast to the void
Time has lost its meaning
Perception will bend
The cost of compliance
Dwelling deep within
A reptilian alliance
The inhumane end
Beware the serpent’s whisper
Beware the serpent’s kiss
Roaring flames break the night
Exposing such a horrid blight
Heads bow to worship symbols
While the rest cower and tremble
Words conveying their madness
Engulfing all in sadness
Such a brilliant terror
Confidence was in error
Beware the serpent’s whisper
Beware the serpent’s kiss

Just impressed how excellent and authentic this record sounds. It's just like 1980s again! It's made with huge love of heavy doom metal legends! So much passion in vocals! I give it a ten epicus out of ten doomicus! Pure metallicus nostalgia! XUN

IMHO, one of those albums that catches your attention immediately, but needs a few listens to really appreciate how great it is. Getting addicted guys, really! sachavonkarl74

I stumbled across this on "Transylvanian Recordings." They throw down, I may end up getting some more of their releases....this is the one I like best so far! Rich Kinman
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
